Our client is developing a set of applications to be used in the health care industry to search health care records. The architecture is similar to websites like Google Maps and Google Docs, where there's a complex web-based front-end that communicates with back-end web services using AJAX. Our client is looking for a JavaScript/HTML/CSS programmer who can design and implement those Google-like front-ends. Another developer is building the web services and database code. The code needs to run on IE, Firefox, and Safari, so the programmer must understand the nuances of each. Yahoo User Interface (YUI) JavaScript libraries are currently used extensively. Experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as YUI, Dojo, MooTools, and Prototype is required, and candidates must also have experience developing libraries as well.
